Enhance the Fascial Train of Thought
Date : Saturday, 14th September 2019
Duration : Two Days CPD
Tutor : Earle Abrabrahamson
Description
This interactive 2 day workshop is designed to provide attendees with the anatomical structure of fascia and its connection with the body. Building upon the work of Tom Myers and considering Fascia as a dynamic connective tissue that weaves its way through the body and pieces together multiple structures, attendees will be able to better understand the value of this connective tissue. Often dismissed as part of other components, it is the fascia that we need to recognise, assess, and manage that really impacts function and functional movement.
The workshop provides insight and overview of neuromuscular anatomy including neurodynamic testing for the upper and lower limbs, fascial assessment through posture observation and correction. Attendees over the 2 days, will have the opportunity to develop their thinking and practice toolkit around integrating existing knowledge whilst accommodating new ideas. The workshop is delivered in an applied way focussing on different injuries and pathologies and then building assessment and treatment techniques to better align theory with practice.
This CPD is for qualified massage or bodywork therapists. To Book a place please pay the deposit below with final payment due on the day.

Just finished the massage diploma training, and it was an amazing and wonderful, intense year, with a wonderful group and the most amazing tutors. They are all so supportive and caring. The course is very intense, and the homework and studying took more time than I had anticipated, but I have learned loads and it was more than worth it! I think Meridian is the best school to go to. They really prepare you as much as possible for working as a massage therapist. Thank you all lovely ladies!
