THE COMPLEMENTARY AND NATURAL HEALTHCARE COUNCIL LAUNCHES ITS PRACTITIONER REGISTER
The CNHC is the new voluntary regulator for complementary and natural healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for practitioners to register with them - this register was launched in January 2009 for massage practitioners. Other disciplines will follow at varying times during 2009.
CNHC has developed with the help of complementary health care practitioners, via their Professional Associations with support from the Foundation for Integrated Health.
The CNHC states that the Department of Health is committed to establishing the CNHC as the national voluntary register in the complementary health care field. So as a practitioner it is pretty important to get your name on the register. The qualifications gained at Meridian, accredited by the Massage Training Institute, more than meet the requirements for registering with the CNHC. For more information visit.
